We would like to suggest the following scale to decide which fitness activity might be right for you:

Have a Ball Aerobics 1 & 2
Provides a modest work-out designed for each individual to work at your own pace. Each class includes balance and core work on stability balls provided by the Center.
Mon. and Wed. 9:00 am $1.00/class
Cane Masters 2, 3 & 4
An exercise and wellness program designed for people who use a cane, and is open to anyone else. It includes stretching, strength training, and meditation. The exercises can be done standing, sitting, or even lying down.
Thurs., Jan 14 - February?? 12:45 pm $20.00
Dance Aerobics 1 & 2
Provides a moderate to vigorous cardiovascular dance workout with tunes from the 50's, 60's and 70's. Each class includes balance and strength training.
Tues. and Thurs. 8:45 am $1.00/class
Basketball
Anyone 50+ who wants to shoot baskets may use the gym.
Tues. and Fri. 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
Bowling League - Striking Lanes.
The bowling league will begin on Friday, September 10.
There will be 2 sessions September - December and January - April

Drumming 2 & 3
Come drum on our stability balls, stretch and relax. Wed. 10:00 am $1.00 per class
Sit Down Drumming This class is great for people just getting back into exercise or who are mobility challenged.
Tues. 9:15 am $1.00 per class
Fitness Room 1, 2, 3, & 4
Available for those who like to work on their own. The room includes a treadmill, NU-STEP, exercise bikes and 12-station gym. An appointment can be made to have an orientation on all of the equipment.
$2.00 per day or $100.00 for an annual pass.

Senior Scrambles
Every Monday at Hartland Glen 18 holes, starting weather permitting. Play will begin at 8:30 am. Please sign in by 8:00 am. Senior Men and Women welcome. $20.00 to play including cart and $3.00 for prizes. Teams will be assigned according to handicap. Any questions call Tom Potter at 810-735-6534.
Jodi's Sit and Fit 2, 3 & 4
Taught by P.T. Jodi from Advanced Physical Therapy. This class is done in chairs and is great for those with mobility limitations and for our most fit individuals. You choose the hand weights that fit your fitness levels.

Jouni's Angles 2, 3 & 4
Taught by P.T. Jouni K. Mantyla, P.T. from Michigan Rehabilitation Specialists. This class is done primarily in chairs and includes strength training with hand weights and exercise bands.
Thurs. 9:30 am FREE
Pickleball 1 & 2A fast paced racquet sport. It is played with wiffle balls and a three foot high net on a badminton court or in the gym. It is easy to learn and is fast and fun.
No Pickleball on Friday, Sept 17. There
will be no pickleball on Monday, November 1 or 2 due to the
election.

The Hartland Senior Center is hosting our own regional Pickleball tournament
on October 22 & 23. We are looking for anyone who would like to
volunteer that day by working with refreshments, registration table or

Hartland Community Education will have adult pickle ball.
Mondays only from 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm beginning Sept.
The drop-in cost is $4.00.

Action Home Health Care will be sponsoring an excellent all-around workout for seniors.
This class is appropriate for those who are just beginning an exercise program and those who are mobility challenged.

Of our building. There is no charge to walk the halls or to walk on our outdoor track. If you walk inside please sign-in at the Center and pick up a pass. FREE
Wii Bowling
Monday afternoon is the time for "bowling without a ball." You get the feeling and excitement of bowling without having to throw a 15 lb. ball down the lane. Anyone is welcome to come on down and join us at 12:30 pm. Free
Gentle Yoga and Simple Stretches 1, 2 & 3
Janet Smith will be back to teach our Yoga Class. Yoga helps
with strength, balance, and flexibility.

Zumba 1 & 2
Another session of Zumba with Jim and Terri Herrick. The class has been moved to the stage to make the dancing easier than on carpet. The 8 classes will cost $35.00 for members and $40.00 for non-members.

Zumba Toning 1 & 2
Terri and Jim will also be here for Zumba and Toning. This is a slower paced class with additional emphasis on hand weights and toning. The cost for 8 week class is $37.50 for members and $42.50 for non-members.
