Music
Music counts .
. .because it is an ever-present part of our daily lives. And the good
news is that YOU can take your place amongst the happy, music-making
activities of our own HSC. The following groups will resume the week
of January 16:
Silver Chords (Women’s Vocal Ensemble)
Mon. & Wed. at 10:00 am, or
Silver Squires (Men’s Chorus)
Tues. at 10:00
am, or
Second-Wind Ensemble (Band)
Tues. at 1:00 pm
Your level of musical skill will match perfectly with
everyone associated with our growing ‘band’ of music-makers. (No
auditions required.) Since we are all retirees seeking an opportunity
that’s fun, stimulating and provides a worthwhile focus to our daily lives,
the camaraderie alone makes your involvement worthwhile! After every
performance, learning begins anew. So now is the time to “get on the band
wagon,” so to speak! Bring your interest and enthusiasm for singing, or
your ‘retired’ school instrument for playing, to one of our rehearsals. I
promise you won’t be disappointed! For more details, inquire at the office,
or call Diane Detter (248-514-4671) or Larry Detter (248-514-5537) at your
earliest convenience. "Ah1&ah2!"
Acoustical Jam Session

have a group of musicians who get together to play bluegrass,
country and folk music. Bring your guitar, mandolin, ukulele,

Everyone is welcome! You don't have to be good; you just need
to enjoy music.
