Al Turner is interested in leading a group of stamp collectors here at the Center. If you collect stamps and want to meet with other like minded individuals, please call the Center and leave your name and phone number and we will arrange for a time for you to meet here.
Art With Audrey
Audrey Terry will resume her art classes the first week of April:
Mixed mediums class. The fee for this 8 week class is $65.00.

Portrait class. The fee for this 8 week class is $65.00.

New Driftwood Painting Class
You can paint on driftwood or lab wood or canvas. The instructor will furnish wood for $10.00 or $20.00 or bring your own if you choose. See the showcase in the Center for examples. Bring your own acrylics, brushes, etc. There will be four classes for $25.00.

Nimble Needles
Do you like to knit or crochet? Or do you want to learn? Join our ladies on Wednesdays. Keep those fingers busy and enjoy the fellowship of friends.

The Silver Threads quilting group. This group of women come together to work on their projects, exchange ideas, learn new techniques, and talk, talk, talk. Everyone is welcome including beginners.

Hartland Woodcarver's Guild
Come and share your love of woodcarving on Wednesday mornings at 9:00 am at the Senior Center. The group welcomes both beginners and experienced carvers. If you would like to join our carvers they meet in our art room. Hand and power carvers are welcome but power carvers must have dust remover.

One Stroke Painting
New Lighthouse Landscape in Acrylics
Paint a beautiful Michigan Lighthouse Landscape in acrylics quickly and easily with award winning instructor Donna Roskamp. All of the materials are provided including a 11X 14 canvas board. Beginners and beyond are welcome to join this fun and easy class. Please pre-register.

Traditional Decorative Painting - Beginners
Learn the art of traditional decorative painting. Use blending, shading and stroke work to create beautiful, realistic looking projects. We will start at the very beginning with learning to load a brush, practice blending, shading, stroke work and to use a pattern then move onto our projects. This is a slow paced class with lots of hands on instruction. At least two projects will be completed in six weeks. During this session you may choose to work using oil paints. Bring your own or use the instructors for a weekly palette fee of $5.00.
All materials will be provided. Please bring your brushes if you have them.

One Stroke Painting - 6-week series
Beginner/Intermediates
Spring is just around the corner. Get out and learn a new skill and make some new friends! This 6-week painting session is for beginners and intermediates. The projects include a tall vase with tulips, drying herbs and flowers, fabric painting on a T-shirt, a fun flower pot and painted lace on a candle. The instructor provides all of the supplies. Beginners welcome!
All materials will be provided. Please bring your brushes if you have them.

Writer's Circle
Come join the Writer's Circle and share in its companionship and inspiration. Meetings are held at the Senior Center. All forms of composition - story, poem, memoir, essay, etc. are welcome. If you've never tried your hand at writing, this is the perfect time and place to begin.

We are asking that anyone making a reservation for a class or a special event to please pay at the time of registration. If you call for information on classes, please follow-up by sending a check to the Hartland Senior Center . We have been encountering problems with cancellations. We also urge you to register for classes early when a new series or class is offered. We have cancelled some classes due to lack of interest only to have people show up the day of class assuming they could register at that time. Thank you for your understanding.
