Invest in our Future - Stock Market Game
Volunteers are needed to form teams and play the "Stock Market Game" with 6th grade students at the Farms Intermediate School.  Teacher, Chris Anderson, is the Stock Market Game coordinator for both Michigan and Iowa.  Each team will be given $100,000 (imaginary) to invest from October 11 through December.  You can be experienced with investing or you can learn along with your younger teammates.  The class meets around 2:30 pm with the days to be determined.  If you are interested in playing please call the Center and leave us your name and number.


Celebration Committee
Our celebration committee meets to discuss upcoming parties and dinners. They also show up to decorate tables and get everything ready before our each special event. Anyone is encouraged to join this committee.“Many hands make light work.”

Chess Players 
Our Chess group is looking to take on new challengers.  If you enjoy the game of chess, you can find a game at the Center.

Bridge Class for Players
This class is designed for bridge players that would like to improve their bidding as well as their play.  The class will cover both offensive and defensive play of the cards.  This class is not for beginners.

Duplicate Bridge - An unsanctioned duplicate bridge game is played every Wednesday at 12:30 pm. You do need  a partner to play.  If you do not have a partner you may call  Darlene Wertz at (248) 887-4954 for more info or to check her list of individual players.

  -  We have three days to enjoy Euchre at the Center.            Tues. mornings   10:00 a.m.  and
                             Thurs. evenings 6:00 p.m.  $1.00
If you don't like such a fast-paced game you may come and play "relaxed euchre" on Fridays. 
We also host a euchre tournament every other month.   See the Coming Events page for more information

Hartland Finer Diners
We have changed the focus of our singles dinner to include anyone who would like to enjoy dinner with a group of friends.  Everyone is invited to attend.  If your spouse doesn’t like going out to dinner you may join us alone or come together.  Our next dinner out will be at the Ciao Amichi's in Brighton.  Please call the Center

Men's Breakfast
Our men’s breakfast will be held at the Center. Pancakes, sausage, orange juice and coffee.  Breakfast is served at 9:00 am.  Please note the date on your calendar.  We will no longer place phone call reminders.

Penny Poker Five Games in One
If you enjoy cards, bingo, poker and having fun you may want to join our group.  This game is fun and easy to learn and you play five different games on one deal.  Bring your pennies and join the fun!

Pinochle          

Pinochle will be played on Tuesdays.  We play 3-4-5 or 6 handed whatever works for the number of players that come.  Please plan to arrive by 12:00 so tables can be arranged.

Red Hattitudes
Our thanks to Pat Klos for hosting our annual membership meeting at her lakeside home.   It was a beautiful day with wonderful food and great companionship.   September, the Red Hats will be hosting the "Red Hat Trash & Treasure Sale".  If you would like to help in any way, contact Mary Lou Passmore or the Senior Center.

Triple Play
Direct form the Villages in Florida is a new card game called "Triple Play".  It is a spin-off of Hand &Foot.  Mary Wilcox and friends will be here to teach this new game.  If we have enough interest we will play every Thursday.

Come join the fun of Wii virtual bowling.  It is easy to play.  You may either sit or stand.  If you like bowling you will love this game.
